Franc aka FrantiK began to be interested in electronic music via record stores in 1995. His first records were of the Techno and Hardcore genres and with an open ear to musical progression, FrantiK evolved to various sub-genres such as Breakbeat, Downtempo, Hip Hop, Dub and Funky. In 1998 he found Drum' n' Bass and it grasped his imagination and interest to become a Disc Jockey. He started to Dj professionally in 1999 thanks to his integration into the group "Salvage Oculto" where he had his first experience with a public in the venue Al-Andalus, grasping quickly the attention of various party promoters for venues, raves and radios in Barcelona like Dostreceradio. In 2002 FrantiK won the Urban Dj' s Contest at The Temporary Bar.

Today he promotes Drum'n'Bass in Barcelona with his collective ¨Tiknology Crew¨ alongside his colleague/associate FillDj. FrantiK's musical talent is recognized nationally, entertaining publics in several Venues, Raves and even Town Festivals. His weekly residency at the X-Pressing Underground Club has brought him to the programers position for the venue, bringing artists such as Dj´s, Mc´s, Live Acts or Visual Jockeys from Barcelona and the rest of Spain. Tiknology Crew also has a monthly residency with ¨Essential¨ in the venue Plataforma. Finally FrantiK's all around ¨art¨ has helped him becoem part of into the Surco collective.

In the near future he would like to help the national Drum'n'Bass scene as much as possible, promoting festivals or artists and with his Drum'n'Bass productions. FrantiK's vision is to promote the Drum'n'Bass "culture" in order to evolve a Spanish international market. His Dj sessions are characterized by fusing his musical inclinations with the specific moments. He likes to tune in with the public, taking care of every detail of the mix and fusing the darkness, smoothness and elegance.
